Instructor Training Program

education programMontana State College is among the units in the Montana University System charged with the duty of recommending instructor candidates for trainer licensure. To be able to advocate prospective teachers in elementary and/or secondary training for Montana instructor licensure, college students should enroll in most strategies, teaching practicum(s), and student educating via the MSU-Bozeman campus. Extra applications may be thought of on the discretion of the Program Director.

Students can transfer in a maximum of 12 credits from one other university provided that these credit have been earned on the master’s stage from an accredited establishment, and is relevant to the ITEP program of study. For those causes, we encourage you to reapply sooner or later or to contemplate different HBS Executive Schooling programs which may be of interest.

Underneath the leadership of the Director of Education, the Schooling Program offers a spread of instructional alternatives for college students, professionals, and educators. ILEP teachers participate in a 5 month academic program at U.S. university graduate faculties of training.

The secondary program ensures that college students are competent of their subject material knowledge and know the way to successfully impart that data in Okay-12 school rooms. In addition to Education, two other degree majors lead to elementary certification: Particular Education and Little one Development (with the trainer certification emphasis). Since its founding in 1960, the Heart has promoted the event of a secure, affluent, and peaceable Asia Pacific community via packages of cooperative examine, coaching, and research. College students should have earned a minimum of forty five or 60 undergraduate hours (relying on the program) by the time they start the trainer education program. Finishing our 11-month program results in a Bachelor of Training (BEd) degree and advice for trainer certification by the Ministry of Education Instructor Regulation Department (TRB).

The Program presents the three master’s levels in college, clinical mental health, and school counseling are provided as on-campus and on-line deliveries. Dr. Jermain Griffin is a valuable new addition to the ITEP faculty as Skilled Lecturer whose analysis includes larger schooling in the world south. The attention NYU pays to each content knowledge and pedagogical information – evident in the 1890 launch of instructor training at NYU – has continued to shape it in the century since. NOTE: Secondary schooling majors don’t apply to the TEP until they apply for the MIC program.
